EDITORIAL STANDARDS

Trust has to be designed in.

These principles govern how MGA Index gathers information, reaches conclusions and manages the conflicts inherent in an operator-led publication.

01

Evidence and interpretation

Reported facts are attributed to identifiable sources. Analysis and inference are labeled through context and language. We do not present estimates, rumors or company-specific disclosures as market-wide facts.

02

Confidential information

We do not solicit or publish confidential employer, client, carrier, reinsurer or participant information. Off-record and background conversations require explicit agreement about how information may be used.

03

Conflicts of interest

The founder’s active industry role is disclosed prominently. Relevant financial, operating or personal relationships are disclosed with coverage. When a conflict cannot be managed through disclosure and independent review, we do not publish.

04

Sponsorship

Commercial support is separated from editorial judgment. Sponsors may select a clearly disclosed topic area but may not approve conclusions, suppress findings or review independent coverage before publication.

05

Corrections

Material factual errors are corrected promptly and noted on the article. Clarifications that change the reader’s understanding are also disclosed. Readers may submit concerns to standards@mgaindex.com.

06

Use of AI

AI may assist with monitoring, organization, transcription and drafting. A human editor reviews every published analysis, verifies material factual claims and remains accountable for the final work. Confidential information is not entered into public AI systems.

Effective September 10, 2026. Corrections that materially change a reader’s understanding are labeled on the affected article with the nature and date of the change. Questions and correction requests are reviewed by the editor.
